This design for an institutional office building consists of a single volume resting on top of a stone platform that absorbs the natural inclination of the ground. The volume on top is articulated by a single vertical move that breaks up with the horizontal predominance and indicates the main entrance.

The proximity of the medieval wall that encloses the historical center is very relevant in the approach of the materiality for the new building. The solid platform is cladded with large residual pieces of rough limestone that contrast with the carefully manufactured pieces of the same stone that cover the volume atop. A rhythmic group of vertical windows open the upper volume to allow light to enter the office spaces.

El edificio se resuelve con un volumen único que se apoya sobre un zócalo de piedra que absorbe el desnivel de la parcela. La imagen del edificio se caracteriza por un desplazamiento volumétrico que rompe la horizontalidad de la pieza e indica el acceso.

La proximidad del solar a la muralla medieval que cierra el casco histórico de la localidad condiciona el tratamiento material del edificio. Se plantea un zócalo de costeros de piedra caliza de grandes dimensiones en contraste con el acabado manufacturado del volumen que alberga las oficinas. Un conjunto rítmico de huecos verticales introducen la luz en las zonas de trabajo.
